"Stoked to bring Reebok "Basketball" back to the Hardwood!"

Super happy receiving my pair of Engine A this evening, just finished doing an initial unboxing video, including a visual breakdown and comparison. I own a colab pair of Alife x ERS 5000 IIs with the original Energy Return System, nitro omitted, so I'm excited to see how these feel on the court in many ways.

I really like the SuperFloat foam feeling; it is much more cushy in the forefoot area and heel, whereas the original was more stiff in the forefoot, and semi-soft in the heel (imo).

Last Friday, I started Dunking (again lol) at 33, so I'm curious to see how the GR pairs will hold up to competition, high-intensity impact, and lots of lateral movements. I have been playing and thoroughly enjoying my FloatZig 1s, and despite being "Runners", they've held me up.

What my FloatZigs do, the Engine A can, just in a more robust and aggressive manner. I love the bold color blocking, the low cut, lightweight profile (slightly heavier than envisioned), and that I can go back to using the runners in my Reebok collection for exactly that, and have a dedicated sneaker for my Basketball hoops.

The few Negatives, pre-Performance review; the is a small amount of glue visible in the toebox/midsole area. There is a white mark or scuff on one shoe, upper lacelet area. The Lace design, albeit simple, could've had the added flair of ERS, Reebok, and or Vector logo branding on the Aglets (imo).

Additional laces to swap that go with the colorway. Some visual box inserts, detailing the updates and benefits of ERS technology, similar to the original packaging and promotional.

There is a plethora I can say, all things revolving Reebok. For the Engine A, I'm pleased Reebok is making another attempt to get back into the Basketball and Sports world as a whole.

As a Reebok Classic collector and fan of brand, it was really cool to see a shoe release, with all I've mentioned, that's solely dedicated to the Hardwood. I don't have to stress "not" going all in 110% effort, because I have my Ventilators, Instapumps, Omni's, or GL 6000's on lol.

I'm at 3/5 to start; it will go either way, depending on how they hold me specifically up while playing the Game I Love!
