Look nice but questionable quality?

Ive been looking for a pair of boots that look like these for like two years now. Its not that theyre difficult to find, but theyre always really cheap and definitely wont last a canadian winter. My other options were moonboots but i dont think the price is justified. I just got these ones, and they fit quite nicely but are loose around the upper ankle. I get the style of the boots warrants a wider ankle, but the lack of extra padding on the inside may mean wind gets into the shoe if one is wearing tight pants. The inside is a different texture than the shearling exterior, feels like a soft minky faux fur, but is very plush so i expect them to be pretty warm. I also like the inclusion of a small water resistant flap on the inside of the zipper to avoid getting ur socks wet when unzipping. I will say that i cant verify if these are fit for -30c, as it is a concern where i live, but they feel comfortable as of right now.
Upon further inspection of the boots, the quality is kind of questionable. I normally dont complain about this sort of thing, but considering i havent even worn these boots anywhere but for 3 minutes in my own bedroom, it kind of bothers me and makes me wonder how long theyll last. Theres stray threads, scuffing on the zippers, and the white strip of rubber near the bottom on the shoe is painted unevenly. There are faint blue marks on the white paint and small bumps that make me think dirt was just painted over and is now trapped underneath. Kind of disappointing for 250$ boots. I took a picture but cant attach it.
